The official had been scheduled to arrive on Monday, but the trip was postponed for an undisclosed reason.
The visit will be made at the invitation of Vietnamese Foreign Minister Phạm Bình Minh. Việt Nam and Russia have enjoyed growing ties in all fields, especially economy.
